I've read where people are having issues adjusting the 1-2 and 2-3 shift on their trinitys for us 2011 Rams. I'm having the same issues, it will throw off the shifting schedule where the tranny acts confused. It won't shift out of 1st until 5800rpm and even then it acts somewhat like manual where you have to shift into every gear with the shifter. These issues have been there since day 1 and even after all the updates it still hasn't fixed it. I've been working with Hemifever (custom tunes) for the 2011s since the intial release. Even he can't change the shifts and increase the rev limiter with a custom tune. No matter what he sets it if I'm not in Manual mode it will only shift at 56-5700 (stock 1-2 shift). The only way I can get it past that if I put it in maual mode (holding the shifter to the left to force the rpms up) then I can shift at 5950ish rpm and sometimes it causes me to bounce off the rev limiter (not matter what he sets the limiter at 6k is the redline). He was telling me that there were over 10 different PCM models for the 2011s and this is why some might have the same issues and some may not. I've been pretty patient with this issue for over a month and a half now, I'm just wondering when these issues will be addressed? I'm ready to start adding nitrous and bouncing off the rev limter is the last thing I want happening.

here is a last tune written file of an attempt by "TheBlackHemi" to raise WOT shifts with Trinity.

"modify tune" is not writing properly to the 1-2 & 2-3 shift tables.

custom tune with WOT shift changes did write properly, and seems to be shifting at the right rpms.

bump....did anyone in tech support look at the last tune written?

No, we've been very short handed through the holidays and this is something that Johan will have to investigate.

attached are a 6000rpm WOT shift custom tune, and a log of WOT shifts with the 6000rpm shift tune.

it's shifting early at about 5700- 5800 rpm.

6000rpm WOT shifts should spin up to at least 6050rpm even 6150 rpm before shift completes and rpms drop in next gear.

not offering a free tune for all. CMR tuners usually like to get paid.

you are welcome to try to load the tune I posted in your vehicle, but I doubt it will work.

custom tunes are usually VIN locked to a specific vehicle, and you are likely to get an error message to the effect of "VIN Mismatch, cant use custom tune".

Ok, your offering a fix for DS to look at and I want download it. If I decide to try a custom tune I would email you but I'm not WOT much just looking at cruising knk and MPGs in town.
