Why would you want to do that?
2012 Chrysler SRT8 - Bright White w/ black chrome package
LMI true cold air intake - 87mm ported trottle body
Black painted roof - tinted windows, windshield, & tail lamps - magnaflow exhaust
Staggard Goodyear super car tires - billet oil catch can - Trinity tune

Absolutely, and it's an awesome thing!A300srt8 wrote:Can the trinty tuner turn off the MDS on a 2012 300srt8?
Why wouldn't you want to? I bought a muscle car for a reason. And one of those isn't to drive by a ricer on the highway and them have a deeper sound than my car when in MDS mode? The car drives a million times better not constantly kicking in and out of MDS. And I've only lost slightly over 1 mile/gallon on mileage. I could care less if it was 5 gallons, it's woth it!SRTGR8T wrote:Why would you want to do that?
Re: turning off MDS
I modified the 93 octane tune, turned off traction control, mds, bumped the throttle. it says the tune that's in there is the modified 93. The ECO dummy light though still comes on aka MDS. Is it really off?SRT8York wrote:Absolutely, and it's an awesome thing!A300srt8 wrote:Can the trinty tuner turn off the MDS on a 2012 300srt8?

Well goes to show how dumb i am then. Thought for sure that light came on when mds came on.
So far though I am impressed, got it "installed" thursday, roads were wet so i couldn't really play, friday it friggin' snowed. i finally got to try her on dry roads yesterday and holy crap. fun fun fun.
Gonna do some logging and see whats what hopefully sometime this week, raining right now so....
