Tranny shuts down

Not sure what I did. When I use the manual shift and go to hit the rev limmiter from first to second I hear a thunk out of the tranny area and the tranny goes dead like it is in neutral. I have to pull over to the side of the road and shut the car off and restart it. It works fine then, except the check engine light comes on for a while....any ideas? O, I almost forgot.. I am using the 91 CAI.

Try raising the rev limiter by about 200 rpm.

Thanks

Same thing just happened to me. Got an error code "PO700" the redator said Transmission MILSpec ? or something like that, when I went through the tranny settings on the Predator it cleared the code.

It happened again today this time, I checked codes with a OBDII reader I have, got P0700 andP0219, I enabled the auto stick and reset speed, and rev limiters all is good for now, but I'm hoping I can disable the autostick and not have this problem.
