New in tune user. Initial update question.

Post by 5liter Monsta »

I just received my intune to be used on my 2013 mustang GT. I followed the instruction to plug the device and run auto update but after some weird driver install failure issues it did not work the first try. Plugged in for the 2nd time and it managed to show the in tune device itself on the screen and go through auto update. However, when I plug the in tune back into my PC and click on check for update it tells me that there is an update and go through the same process of updating all over again. When I seen that it was getting ready to update again I quickly unplugged the cable and decided to write this question. So my question is... is it normal to always show that there's an update available or is something wrong?

Also, do I have to register before tuning my car?

Nevermind, I got it all working and registered. I do have another question tho. When I load another tune do I always have to go back to stock tune first or can I just load the new tune? I just loaded the 93 tune but I'm going to install the airaid tune a little later so I would like to be certain.

nope, just select the new tune you want to install, and install it... no need to go back to stock first...
