Cant Register inTune

My wife bought me a brand new inTune from the dealership for xmas.

So I plugged it in and the application kept crashing; the registration as well poped up but only for a few seconds then crashed. After a few attempts at this the inTune.exe finally decided to stay open and not crash. It went through the updates but once complete the inTune said that I must register the product first before the updates would be applied.

I've read through these forums and the only way for me to register is throught that registration window that does not pop up anymore. There is no option anywhere in the inTune.exe to register.

Here is a copy of the info file; i've noticed there is already a VehVin already?? According to a quick google search of the VIN the vehicle is located in New York. I bought the inTune NEW from the dealer in Canada.

Please advise?

I decided to just hook it up to my 2007 Chrysler 300 V6 3.5 and I got the message: "PCM calibration for (VIN) currently not supported. Check for update". Which it tells me to hook up to a PC with internet and it will download the correct PCM.

Connect to PC and nothing happens. inTune.exe trys to download an update but will not work because I havent registered my inTune because I have no way to register.

Please advise?

Tried calling tech support a few minutes ago and the automated service told me an operator was not available and that it was exiting the system. :(

Thanks Mike for the help buddy!

Mike was able to send me the registration file plus the PCM calibration file. Took all of 10 minutes to fix.

What a difference in the car :) :drivingbad:

reg files are specific to each tool, post your info.xml file from the intune drive please.

New update is not working.
The same problem.

in Vehicle Info:
"Unable to determine VIN and Calibration ID"

in Tune Vehicle menu:
"The vehicle is not supported"

Hallo Mike,

ihave the same problem an i hope that you can help me. I bought a used restored InTune.
My problem is that I could register it but the registrationfile was not saved.
My Vehicle is a Chrysler 300 C 5.7 HEMI with a 5-Speed automatic transmission.
