Traction control issue

Post by meow mix »

I have a 2012 Chrysler 300srt8. I recently disabled traction control and when I went to turn it back on the trinity reads UPDATE FAILED and the dash light warnings stay lit on my car. Does anyone know how I can reset my traction control so I can get it back ON and have all my dash light warnings turn off? Thanks

I got it to enable again but now my car is shifting funny. When I roll up to a stop sign it doesn't down shift fast enough to when I take off its in 3rd gear still and hasn't made its way back to first. It shifts quick when just normal driving. I noticed this problem after uploading the F tune and after the TC being turned off driven the turning it back on. I have 22 inch wheels with 295/30/22 tires and haven't loaded into the trinity. Would this fix my issue or is there a deeper issue.

I pulled the fuse and its still shifting the same. It's just seems to be off in shifts. I havent noticed it doing this before. If i have shift points raised will it drive like this. I am not sure what else to try.

I have updated to the F version of the trinity and that's when I noticed it but then I went back to the E version it still seems to be there. I am not sure if I ever noticed it was doing it. It shifts fast through gears when driving normal and when I come to a stop it seems to be slow on getting back to the proper gear to accelerate from the stop. So if I do a decelerate and stop and accelerate a bit quick it will still be in third but if I wait to go it will make its way to 1st. When i accelerate onto the highway my car will be in 5th gear by 40mph. It could be me but I am not sure. I noticed on the engine screen on the srt setting on the touch screen when I watch the gear changes the screen is a little but off on the shifts. It will shift and then it will show the gear change on the screen. Again I could be just over thinking this so hopefully you can let me know if this is normal. When I quickly accelerate through the gears it is fine.
