05 lly U7185 errors

I have the u7185 predator and have had no issues with downloads until recently. I have put a remote start on my truck and now for some reason I can't get the truck to accept downloads. So I have a few questions about this: A)Would a remote start really be whats stopping a download? B) Is it safe for me to have my computer re flashed? Thanks in advance for any advice.

a. yes.
b. if its tuned by the Predator now, you dont want to let the dealer flash it, but to flash with the Predator will require that the remote start be disconnected.

I want to start by saying this has not happened but I have been reading that the computer should not be flashed with a tune on it. What happens if it does and is it fixable if it does happen?

like a tune from another device?
as long as the tool saves it, it can always be 'restored' to the PCM again.
