Dodge charger LT and ST Knock 93 & 91 OCT at Cruising Speeds

Dear Mikel,


Im really pleased with the DS T1000 Ive got better performance.
I have a dodge charger R/T 2011 with Volant CAI + Magnaflow cat back and i use 93 OCT fuel and 0-60 timing before tune = 5.7 sec after = 5.2 with 93 OCT.
but the only problem is that im getting ST & LT knk at the speed of 50 miles between 1000 RPM to 2200 ST= up to 6.5 LT = 3.5
with the 91 OCT ST= 6 LT=1 at same speed RPM .
my friend has a charger stock with DS 93 OCT and he doesn't get any LT knock and we use same fuel.

please help me eliminate this problem tell me what i need to modify or change. i tryed adding 5% fuel to 91 OCT and it got worse. I added the same to 93 OCT and it reduced the LT to 1.5 but the car response performance was worse.

did you try pulling some spark from where it is knocking?

last time I monitoring Knock I found strange numbers
ST = 6 and LT = 2 some times more
I switch to 91 tune, but I got the same result
I did not find such these numbers before .

I wish to know the reason of the issue and find a solution.

I wonder, Where is the support from DS .

I'm having the same problem with my Jeep SRT8. Pulling st knock up to 9 and LT knock between 1 and 2. I've been trying to datalog it to understand what's happening. It seems interesting so many people seem to be having this problem. Wonder if the knock sensors are just too sensitive or something else. The knock on my Jeep occurs in both the 93, 91, and stock tune. I thought it might be bad gas or oil in my manifold; I just finally got my catch can installed.

Would like to hear feedback from others on how they have resolved this problem or what might be other causes?

when you load a tune, you should be able to go to "Modify Tune" and modify WOT spark. look at your log, and pull the amount of ST knock you have vs rpm from WOT spark and see if it helps reduce knock.

when you have knock, less spark will usually help performance.
