there is no hardware upgrade available or required for your U7186, it can be updated online if needed for free.

It can be traded in toward a InTune or Trinity if you would like.

I just bought a new Predator this week. I am aware they are being phased out due to the new intune. My question is how do I know if my brand new in the box Predator is up to date? I don't know how long it's been "sitting on the shelf".

Until I get my signature updated, I have a 2007 Duramax classic with the LBZ.

latest version is 9r15.

Thanks Mike. I'll check next time I plug in. Let's just say that I don't have the latest version and I'm running the 65 tune. What would be different? Would the update be more efficient? Add more power? More mileage?

no, to be honest, the tunes have not changed too much, most updates are to add support for new calibrations.
