Long tubes have been causing problems for me, particularly trouble code p1132 with a note referencing p2196. At one point, it also gave me another p0something code referencing the tps sensor, but that went away and the TPS voltage was varying between 8.8 and 9.8 which is supposed to be normal. Whatever the problem, it is causing drive-ability issues intermittently, such as hesitation and hanging rpms as if the throttle were stuck. This is happens more when it is cold, but even when it does not the car still drives like it is running rich and the mpg is way down. It is like this no matter what tune I use, and disconnecting the battery only fixes the problem for about 20 miles. I have tried 2 different sets of mil eliminators and 2 sets of 02 sensors to no avail. I am wondering if simply turning them off in the tune will fix the drive-ability issues, before I go trying to replace Iac valves and all that. I am pretty sure it isn't a vacuum leak or any of that other stuff.
I am not sure if the backup from the tool uploaded right. I tried several times, but I kept getting this .frg thing that kept disappearing.

Re: Need help please
We cant offer to make you a custom tune to disable any OBDII/emissions control devices, thats something a CMR tuner will have to do for you.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Need help please
Sct tuners allow you to disable them...who at ds decided to leave out this feature? Also they told me I can send in their tuner for reprogramming whenever I get new mods that need it...like high flow cats with long tubes. You guys really fell off. Just looked through your forums also...many unanswered questions or highly generic responses. Severely lacking. Waiting on my Sct in the mail now.

Nobody here made that decision, it was made by the EPA years ago, those who choose not to comply will likely pay for it in the long run. We are not trying to snub the federal government, whether we agree with them or not
