I-1000-DCX registration and vehicle recognition problems

Just picked up my intune DCX today. I have a Mac, but I also have a PC notebook for windows based needs. Preference is to use the Mac. Tried to register using the notebook and the registration screen doesn't show the bottom half because your software programmers don't allow it to be resized, minimized, or maximized. Only option is to move it around or close it, and you still can't move it where you can see the bottom half of the page. Secondly I have a 2012 Ram 1500 and it's not one of the options for the registration.
The grand finale...... I plugged the programmer into my truck and it doesn't recognize the truck......

doesn't matter what you select for a vehicle in that registration form.. select a 2011 one.. doesn't matter...
as for your other issues, dunno man... you'll have to wait until diablo is back in the office on monday...

Sounds like you have the same problems I had. Had to call Diablo & get a new code before you can even get into selecting the tunes for my 2012 1500.
If you get it to work, let me know if you're able to modify the tunes & write them without getting an error at the end.

Was able to update the firmware on my tuner, but it still says my vehicle is not supported.

I did receive that update and it now recognizes the truck, but fails to backup PCM. Was on hold for over 30 minutes in the queue and gave up. Hopefully there is a light at the end of this tunnel.......

I'm having a similar problem with my 2011 Dodge Challenger R/T. Using the Intune DCX, it has some trouble loading any tune other than the stock backup.
At one point, I did get the Diablo Tune to run though. It came up on the screen that the tune had failed to load, but the car seemed fine, so I gave it a go. The car ran on the new tune (firmer shifts, no cylider shutdown, etc.) for a little while. However, after I turned the engine off for a few hours and then started it back up again, it had reset itself back to factory. Then used the Intune to make sure everything was properly reverted back to stock.
Looking forward to the next update so I can run this tune full time.

As much as I am not trying to argue with you....there is no way for a PCM to set itself back to anything
When you flash a PCM, first thing it does is erase the memory, then load the new programming. Hence, it cant 'change' at any point without being flashed again....

I'm probably not explaining it correctly, but that is what happened. Loading the Diablo Tune failed and the Intune was prompting me to reload the back-up, original tune. I just unplugged it at that point and drove, and the car worked with the DiabloTune (though the check engine light was on the entire time).
Once I let the car sit off for a few hours and came back to it, the check engine light was off, and the car was shifting like it did from the factory, and cylinder shutdown was functioning again. I then used the Intune to reload the original factory tune one more time to make sure everything would work properly going forward.
So basically, I think I had a failed install, but was somehow able to operate the vehicle using the Diablo Tune. It's not something I'd recommend to anyone, but I can assure you that it did happen.
Anyway, I'll give you guys a call sometime this week to walk through this in more depth and hopefully get a tune installed correctly. Your hours of operation and the long hold times are a killer though.

well...ummm, OK
Something was amiss, but the tune cant change.
If the tune 'left', your car would not run, and it does not save an image of the stock file to go back to, so not sure what happened there.

Yeah, several times during the install process on several tune, the install would fail and the car would not start at all. I was then prompted that the backup had to be reloaded. I never accomplished a successful load of the Diablo Tune, I just didn't follow through with the install of the stock tune when prompted and was then able to drive it for a little while that way. Very odd, I know, but I have no reason to lie to you about this.
Bottomline, I have not been able to successfully install a new tune on my '11 Challenger R/T, but I would like to. Otherwise, the Intune is just an expensive paperweight
Now should I keep trying and hope that it will work, or will there be an update soon that I can download to fix this problem? Please let me know when you can. I really do appreciate it.
