I had the same issue with my hemi and I spoke to Vas. He told me to plug the trinity back to the computer and run the DS downloader again. There should be a button that says calibration updater. Click that and it will update the call ID. You should be fine after that.

I connected, updating took place automatically, and the problem all the same remained

You have to click on updater to update the call ID. It will not do it automatically. Once you open the DSDL there should be a button on the bottom right saying calibration updater.

Well, not sure how you get a car that is newer than you thought, but the 10th digit of the VIN determines the model year.
A=2010
B=2011
C=2012
D=2013

The VIN is ALL that matters, and according to Chrysler, and the DOT, your vehicles is a 2013 model....for most people thats good news

I just got my 2013 Vapor this week. I'd pre-ordered a Trinity as I'd not seen the info stating the 2013 unexpectedly had diff ECU software from the 2012. Now today I finally found this thread from all this time ago saying 2013 is still not here. Has it been that much of a drama to work it out given it's now June? I read a report from the SEMA show saying it was like 30 days away back last Nov. I was really looking forward to the arrival of the trinity, now I'm bummed. Its almost as bad as the fact I duped myself and didn't see all the fanfare regarding the 2014 SRT and all the major revisions which really annoyed crap out me. I thought a CAI and TB with Trinity would be a consolation prize till I can swap to a 2014 edition SRT..
