U7198 Questions

2001 Camaro SS Convertible w/A4 - no mods - U7198/9R17

I just installed the Diablosport tune. A very noticable increase in performance - Good Job you guys.

My questions:

1. I did not see a screen to choose the tranny - did I miss something?

2. Can I adjust shifting points/firmness or is it already done in the Diablo tune?

3. My stock tune gave just a small amount of wheel spin when I WOT in low/1st from 20mph. This new tune just rips the tires. It revs like I'm on ice. It's impressive/fun but goes into second too soon. Can I back down the torque a little in low/1st?

1. Its all inthe same tune :)
2. Yes, you can. We add a little firmness to the tunes as well.
3. No...might be time to look at a grippier tire :)

Thanks

Whoa - thanks for the quick reply.

I just bought these tires - got about 200 miles on them.

I was kinda hoping I could just back down timing or fuel a bit in your tune but maybe I'll try modding up my stock tune in upper gears and leave low/1st alone.

Thank you for your help and thanks for making these tools. This really woke up the old Chevy.

How do you tell if its a 9R17 when ordering it?
