Abs throttle pos vs throttle pos sensor?

Abs throttle pos vs throttle pos sensor?

Should the throttle position sensor read the same as the absolute throttle position? If not how much difference should there be at say idle?

10 silverado 5.3

I'm reading abs throttle at 16-18 and throttle position sensor at 3-4 at idle
