2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Selec-Terrain

Post by billhemi3 »

Hello! I have a 2011 Cherokee 5.7L and I'm currently running the canned 93 octane tune. In regards to throttle response, when I'm in "Auto" I can definitely feel the improved response of the vehicle, but in "sport" mode it feels more like a stock vehicle. I'm running 15% throttle booster, but I'm wondering if the tune pertains only to "auto" mode. Thank you.

its possible that the sport mode has its own throttle setting, which is likely less aggressive than the tune, we'll have to look into it.

Has this issue been addressed in an update or can you still only tune the "AUTO" portion of the quadra drive II?

I've been experimenting in both sport mode and auto for the last few days. It feels to me that both have equal throttle response but the shifting is better in sport mode. At part throttle, sport mode, seems to hold on to each gear a little longer, allowing the RPM's to be in a better place before the shift. This is just a seat of the pants thing and I have no data to support it.
