Hi, Ive been thinking about getting a custom tune from you guys. But I dont have the the USB cable or the power adapter. Can I buy the U7778 predator pc interface kit from the online store and that will take care of all the equipment I'll need? I have the U7193 predator.
Thanks,
-Kyle

ok so i bought everything i need from radio shack. Should have just bought it off of your website i would have saved half my money lol but anyway. Im ready to get a custom tune now so how do we get started? I have a few questions before though. My truck seems to ping a bit at WOT im not sure if thats what it is or not. It only does it at WOT and at high rpms (between 4000-5000 RPM) but not too loudly to where i can for sure tell thats what it is. Other than at wot and being in a high RPM it doesnt do it at all. I have no check engine lights and no codes. Maybe running lean at WOT? Will you guys be able to see it in the logs that i send? And will you be able to work it out if it is just running a little lean? I only have a CAI other than that and a flowmaster muffler truck is all stock. Im really looking forward to getting a custom tune from you guys Ive heard nothing but good things.
Thank you

diablosport themselves does not do custom tuning for end users... you need to get a custom tune from a diablosport CMR custom tuner, like myself... which is what you've heard/read the good things about ;)

it's $135 for a custom tune....

With the custom tune, you'll gain even better/quicker throttle response & acceleration, stronger/harder pull, smoother & quicker power delivery throughout the rpms, etc...

as far as gains go... absolute hp/tq gains are hard to predict... every vehicle is different... even if they're the same and have similar mods... location/weather, fuel used, elevation/altitude, etc etc all play a role... the same holds true for mileage gains - those variables, plus driving habits/style, how much highway vs city driving, etc all make a difference.... you could gain no mpg increase, or you could gain up to about 2 mpg increase... tough to say due to all of the variables in play - which is why there is no guarantee of any specific amount of hp/tq or mileage gains.

with the custom tune, I CAN tell you that you will definitely have a very noticable performance difference/gain over and above the canned preset diablo tunes...

I have gained people anywhere from 12-39hp, and 10-23lb. ft. torque...and 0 to 2 mpg - above and beyond what the preset canned tunes give you... again, obviously mods, fuel used, driving style/habits, etc all played a role in who gained what...

What I'd need from you is a copy of your "original backup" stock tune file, a copy of the "last tune written" tune file, and the paypal (there are
"Buy Now" paypal buttons on my site), and that's it... then we're good to go. and I can usually have the initial custom tune done and sent back to
you within 24 - 48 hours from the time that I receive everything.

Here's info about my custom tuning:

http://www.diablewtune.com/

there are links on there to all the info and programs you'll need - i.e. what tune files I need, how to export/import tune files, my paypal info,
etc etc... as well as a link to just a small sample of just some of the "Testimonials" I've received from people I've done my tunes for - makes for good
reading, hehe.

once I get the initial custom tune done and sent back to you and you install it, then you'll need to put on about 100 miles over a few days of normal driving, and then I'll have you do a data log for me so I can check the fueling/timing and do some fine-tuning adjustments...

Thanks for asking man, I appreciate it!!

and you can email me directly at diablo.help AT gmail.com...

you have a newer 7193 predator, on a 9rXX revision, you don't need that... that's for older 7191 and 7194 tools...

look at/read #1 on my site for the info/instructions for your model/revision predator...
