forgot to mention.... Removed .8 rebooted installed .9 could not open due another version running, removed .9 installed .8 could not get it running as another version running. Removed again went in and removed the DATAVIEWER files all I could find, rebooted checked no files left. Reinstalled .8 and it worked as expected. Tried again to install.9 same. When I get time I will remove everything again completely (as there is files left behind) and retry .9

Yes, I will try and remove .8 and going in and remove those leftover DATAVIEWER files and see if .9 will reload properly.
Do it about an hour got a turbo to install first.

Ok, removed .8 and the extra files, rebooted and then installed .9, program opened, ran some logs....good. Shut the program could not re-open "another instance running"
At this point I removed the program using the provided uninstall, removed the extra files again, rebooted. Using a reg edit program removed 19 dataviewer entries .8 and .9 rebooted, removed any other files for dataviewer.
re-installed .9again and started it again and viewed logs again. Shut it down.. waited and tried to restart dataviewer, again "another instance running"
ALT TAB nothing showing. Start task manager, nothing showing under Applications. Try to start again... same thing no go. Go back to task manager, under PROCESSES... dataviewer.exe , Select it and end task, try program bingo! Shut program down and try to restart, no go again same reason. Repeat the processes exercise and it works again. REPEATABLE

DV hangs when you shut it, you may have to kill it with task manager or let it sit for a few minutes before relaunching....

The process stays running NOT THE APPLICATION, end the process and use DV immediately....EVERYTIME.

I installed and get an error when it tries to launch.

"The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Pleae see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

In the system's event log I get event ID 33 associated with this error with the following:

Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files (x86)\DiabloSport\DataViewer 3.3\DataViewer.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.CRT,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="8.0.50727.6195" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

I can run 3.3.08 just fine.

Just discovered a new problem between the DataViewer "PROCESS STILL RUNNING" and the inTune.
Plugged in and booted my inTune and the AutoPlay window opened, but no UI/updater window. I tried manually and nothing... long story short I opened Task Manager and on the application tab, the DiabloSport CD drive is running so I end it and try and manually restart it. Still no UI/updater window but is again running in the Task Manager. Look under Processes Tab and DataViewer.exe is still running... a day and a half after the last use (confirmed beta version). Ended the process and rebooted the inTune and all is well. Repeated this over and over. So if the process DataViewer.exe is still running the UI/updater will not show on the screen but it will be running in the background.

The data viewer will show up and act like its working but as soon as I connect the trinity to it to start to datalog, it just freezes and if I click on the screen it says that the dataviewer is not responding.
