So I installed a custom tune from Hemifever the other day and all went mostly well. The only problem I had was that after I loaded the custom PCM and TCM tunes onto the predator I tried installing both onto the vehicle and the PCM tune worked fine but the predator said that there was an error with the TCM tune and wouldn't load it, Sean aka Hemefever told me, before he sent me the tunes, that this was a common problem with the PCM tunes and it might not work. Well he was right and I was told to contact Mike L. He told me that in the meantime I should do some data logging so that he would be able to tweak the tune a little more. Well I tried to do that but when I tried the predator showed an error message saying "Unable to get calibration ID PCM." So I did a little searching on the forums and didn't find many answers but so I tried reinstalling my backup, but when I pressed the Performance tune option on the front page, I got the same error message as before. This also happened when I tried the " Show Calibration ID" and "Show VIN" option. I thought I might have needed to update the predator but I remembered that I cannot do that without the stock tune on the truck.
At the moment this is not my daily driver so there isn't a huge rush to get this sorted out, but I was wondering what I could do to fix these two problems?
EDIT: Weird....I just tried again once last time before going inside and I no longer get the CalID error. Although I still do need help in finding out why the TCM tune isn't loading. Also, how do I select PIDs on the predator?
