Steeda CAI

Does the new update have a canned Steeda CAI tune? If not I am not going to update just to get my A/F pointer to work, because the digits are fine, the pointer just sits on 0. I really have a good tune you guys sent me. I just have to reload it everytime I update. I'm just getting it to act right again after the download here awhile back. Please put the Steeda 212-2 in the next update as a canned tune. It's the best tune I have ever had. It has great power and a smooth 750rpm idle after warmup. The universal CAI tune is a dog with the Steeda CAI,it hunts idle and does not make the power the 212-2 does. I forgot to say it's on a 2011 mustang GT. Thanks, Bud Lum

What revision are you on again? We fixed all the dashes and re-did them as well.... may want to update you'll like them alot. I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on them. As a matter of fact if you reload your original backup and connect dsdownloader it will auto update to the most current revision and then all you have to do is go to your logging menu and delete the old dashes and then scroll to the bottom and hit "restore default dashboards" and then everytime you go to log or monitor you'll have two dashes to choose from "11_UP_Ford" (has fancy gauges) and 11_UP_Tuner" (has just digitale gauges and all the pids tuners will want to see.)

Will I loose all of my self made dashes? I have 3 of my own with up to 6 pages that are really good. If my Trinity starts updating automatically like it used to it won't be so much trouble to load the custom Steeda CAI tune you guys sent me. It would be great for everyone with a 2011 and up mustang gt if this was a canned tune. You will have no complaints, unless it's why didn't you do this a long time ago. It is a must have tune for newer mustangs. Keep up the good work, When my car gets back I'll update .I can't tell you what revision I am on cause this new pewter hides them and I can't even download with it. I have to use my old one to update or download to the tool. Can I use the sd card to save my dashboards to and then reload them after I update? Thanks, Bud Lum

You don't have to delete your old dashes no. Just restore defaults and then you'll see the two I was talking about.

Great it downloaded automatically , like it used to. Now I can update and load the custom tune with no trouble. I can even do it all on my new pewter. I have a custom tune for cat delete, and the CAI tune Mike L. sent me .Too download both , do I pick the CAI tune add the cat delete then the dynotune that it asks for when I download the CAI tune.. I really like the tuner layout, I have made some really nice ones that I can't live without. I'm glad I didn't have to redo those, cause it took a long time to set them up. Thank you so much Sohfast, Bud Lum. Oh yea, never mind about making the Steeda 212-2 into a canned tune. I would hate to line up against another coyote with that tune, I might get beat. no lol, no shiznit!

Do you have the tune that was sent you? You can reload it to teh trinity just like you did before. You just have to take it all back to stock when updating is all.

Yes , I got everything up and running and it downloads like it used to .No problems with that now. The attached file is ,I think the X-pipe cat delete tune. It may just be the CAI tune, or is it both combined.I'm just trying to figure out so I can download it and turn the Check engine light off. The CAI tune and the X-pipe tune are the exact same size so I'm not sure

The steeda_02 tune is the xpipe/intake tune.

Thank you for the info Sohfast. I can just load it instead of the 212_2, and have the CAI tune with cat delete X-pipe, right? Thanks again for your speedy reply and being there for me, Bud Lum. YOU GUYS ROCK

Use the universal 100mm AKA the steeda intake tune.
Sorry skipped your question and answered the guy above you.
