My Silverado Intune problems

2010 Z71 4x4 5.3 lt Silverado.......

Any reason my 87 performance tune and Mileage Booster Tune tune get about the same mpg? both are lower then stock tune. have set for right tires too. Just Did road trip ive done many times. 1st tank on Mileage Booster Tune 2mpg worse than stock and didnt seem to use V4 as much, Then put 87 performance tune and got the same as Mileage Booster Tune if not a tad better. Also the mid firm shift and firm shift settings feel the same and both have a slight delay b4 it shifts. any idea why??? I haven't adjusted anything just removed speed limiter and torque mangmant.
