Will a predator for a 2005 mustang gt work on a 2007 mustang

I recently bought a predator tuner from a friend who could no longer use it, however it shows that it was for a 2005 model and i have a 2007 mustang. Will i still be able to use it?

No, the U7140 is 05-06 only.

Will it not work bc of the parameters of the computer and could I have this one updated to a 2007 and if so how much would it cost?

No, you'd need a U7145, I-1000, or T1000 for the 07 model.
