bought a used unmarried predator *questions*

just got a used predator for my 07 mustang GT, gift from my brother*. it is unlocked but i am wondering if it will learn my pcm strategy the first time its plugged in or if i need to do the latest update or what. really confused on how strategy tuners work in this sense.

got it all taken care of and working, only one question. what is the "hard shift tune" i'm guessing a 93 octane "race" tune but figured i'd ask.

its a tune that adds firm shifting....

well, that would be obvious, but shift pressure is a VERY small part of a tune. my question was basically what kind octane is it based on.

it should be listed as 91 octane firm shift, if it does not say, I would assume minimum of 91 octane.

thank you, it doesnt list a specific octane rating for the firm shift tune.
