Hello. My 2011 5.7/392 stroker ram is acting wierd. When i upload the 93 oct tune and i fire it up, she runs like a rocket. But then when i turn it off and turn it on again, i cant rev over 3500 rpms and it doesnt shift up over 4 gear. It doesnt shiftdown unless i stop. I went to original tune and it does the some. First start up runs great. Second start up no matter what tune is written, it does the some issues.
Here is my original backup. Need help.
Trinity btw.

you need lots of custom tuning, you should NOT be using the canned tunes on a 392 stroker, at all....

OK, please tell me what the problem is so i can try to help, but I will preface by saying that I have no solution for anything on that truck as far as tuning, other than to recommend a custom tune.

Thanks

Ok. Can you check if is something wrong with my original backup?. No matter what tune i use it only run ok at the first start on. Then when i turn it off and turn it on again, i cant rev over 3500, i cant go from 4 gear to 5 gear and it doesnt downshift unless i stop. Thats got nothing to do with my stroker. I got over 10.000 kms runned on that stroker with no issue until now. Thanks Mike,

the stock tune looks fine.

what else did you change with the tool?
any tire or gear parameters?

I am not trying to argue, but I promise, that 392 is on borrowed time if you have been running it for 10K miles on a stock tune....not a good idea, especially for the money you have into a stroker setup like that....

Thanks Mike. Now you mentioned, i did entered my new tires dimension, and maybe that could mach with the time that this issue started. Good one.

Im running 36lbs inyectors monitoried by 2 mtx WB and 2 egt. I have no issue with leaning mixture. Wot is covered so far and the rest is covered by open loop. As far as the timing is very conservative and i dont see more that 19 degree at red line. I also using Phormula sensor as a backup and trinity. Havent seen more that 1.5 degree in short term knock rt.

What can you do if i s....w with the tire parameters?.
Thanks Mike.
