I have a 2011 Wrangler with different than stock tires. To compensate I was using a HyperTech Speedometer Calibrator (SC). When I received my i-1000-DCX, I set the computer back to stock with the SC (no DTCs present). I then installed the 87 Octane Tune with tire calibration. My radio (UConnect 130S/RES) began failing Bluetooth connections. I then went to set the computer back to factory again, but now I had a DTC (FCM B2101). I cleared the code and set it back to factory and then set the tire size with the SC.
I am still having major Bluetooth problems. FYI: the same phone still works correctly with the same model radio in my 2012 Ram 1500.
I have disconnected the battery for a couple of minutes, but that doesn't seem to help. I have also unpaired and re-paired.
Any ideas on how to clean up this mess and hopefully get the DCX tune to work?
Bluetooth Problems after Tune
Re: Bluetooth Problems after Tune
The problem has been resolved. My radio had a faulty Bluetooth module. It was coincidence that it failed at the same time as installing the tune.
I have now re-installed the 87 octane tune with tire calibration and everything is working fine.
