Anyone (2011+) have an Email Tune from Johan/Diablotoona?

Specifically looking for people with 11/12 SRT's that have tunes, but would like information from anyone with an 11/12 of any size motor that has one. Do you think it helped? If so, was it worth it versus the canned DS tune? I've read a lot about his work on 2010's and lower, but not much out there on 11 and up. I saw his website and has a link for a tune request, but it's pretty basic and not really any info.

for the best results you should get a CMR + dyno + AFR
this is a 2nd choice

I'm well aware that an actual CMR tune is best, but I have an AFR gauge, so I'm not too worried about a tune running lean or rich as I could see and account for that. Thanks though.

Yes. I actually just got through getting a tune from Johan. I have a 2011 SRT with the 392. I only have an 85mm throttle body, oil catch can, CAI, 180 degree thermostat and 3" catback exhaust as mods. I can't say it added any more HP than the canned 93 octane tune + adjustments I made, but, it definitely "feels" better and is more responsive. With just the "canned" tune, I experienced good performance, I actually got 435 RW HP on dyno when I had it checked, but I would have "lag" in lower gears when cruising and such. With my "tweaking" of the tune, I couldn't quite get the "mixture" right. LOL. But, now with Johan's tune, the car runs quite smoothly through all gear ranges. It also has a really good "feeling" of more power. So, to me, it was definitely worth it. :D

Thanks for the feedback man! A couple of questions.
1. My main issue is the bogging at lower gears. The car always seems to be one gear ahead of where I want it to be and punching it takes a second or two for the car to respond and drop a gear or two. Did his tune fix this?
2. What was the cost and procedure?
3. Did you just fill out the form from his website with all the info or did you have some contact with him in some way first.
4. What was the timeframe for the whole thing?

Thanks!!!

As far as the low end lag, that was my main concern. I won't say it's 100% perfect, but it is 80+% better at least in my opinion. I know very little, to nothing about writing tunes, sending data logs etc. But, All I did was send Johan an email saying I was looking into CMR tune and he just asked me to list specific performance mods I had added. Then, after that, He asks you to copy, from tuner, latest tune you are running and he takes that and whips you up one, and emails it to you along with instructions to both load it and do data logging. You send him logs, then he tweaks the tune, if necessary, and sends you another on that you just re-load. Turn-around time on each is 24 hour or less. Very fast. And, he will tweak as much as you want until it's the best it can be. I have 0 knock retard, that other people have talked about, and I am very glad I did it because as I said, whether it adds any actual HP, it definitely makes it feel like it did. As far as cost, he'll tell you what he told me. He does his tunes on a donation basis. From $100-$700. Of course, would depend on how detailed would need to be for you to judge amount. I mean, I'm sure if you had a super charger, you wouldn't want to just do $100. And, you don't have to send till you want to. We finished mine before I sent mine. I hope this helps. I feel like you won't be disappointed if you get one because one things for sure, it definitely won't hurt and you definitely won't lost any performance.
