I got my intune dcx today, and went straight to the computer and initiated the update, no issue at all. So the device being up to date and my vehicle registered I go to the car, plug it in, choose my tune, adjust some parameters, backup OE tune, and flash the DS software, voila smooth as butter with no issue at all, bravo DiabloSport! At this point having a rather aggressive custom ram air setup, ported upper/lower intake manifold, and a ported throttle body I feel almost certain that I need to adjust fuel, but I'll data log a few sessions just to make sure. One question I have though, when adjusting fuel for any range, the screen seems backwards with rich on the left and lean on the right... moving the value left towards rich shows a negative value while going towards lean shows a positive value, is this correct? If not then which way for sure richens the mixture? Also I checked through all the options and ''reset TCM adaptation'' seems to be absent.
Overall I'm loving the gains as well as the general ease of using the tool. I've used a few in the past from other companies so I had a general idea of what to expect going into this. Now I await a response and am keeping my fingers crossed for shift pressure/ shift firmness adjustment in a future update.

What is KNK Total? With the default 93 octane tune or even the stock unmodified tune it registers a constant 2 while st and Lt kr consistently register 0. It's like this even after adding fuel so I was just curious. The highest knk total has ever gone was 3 degrees for an instant going up a hill then instantly back to 2, never below 2 though even at idle in (P). STKR and LTKR have not even once gone above 0 so I really would like to know. Are there any other PIDs I should monitor or is this a known software thing?
The last thing I want is
Also what would you suggest adding fuel-wise for a ram air setup? So far I've not seen any knock assuming that KNK Total is not actually knock but a threshold. I have noticed that my best 0-60 times came after adding some fuel, so I'm wondering what a ballpark percentage of added fuel I should be shooting for. Thank you in advance.

rich is rich, lean is lean, ignore the +/- values

Thanks for the confirmation Mikel. What is KNK Total? Lastly what is a normal amount of fuel to add to take full advantage of the following mods and ensure that I don't go too lean during WOT?
2012 Dodge Charger SE
Custom DIY Ram Air intake system (front 4" inlet, closed box, 4" intake pipe)
Ported upper and lower intake manifold
Fastman 80mm ported throttle body
Pulstar Iridium GG1i pulse plugs
2.5" cat-back dual exhaust with DI/DO Magnaflow muffler, X-pipe, factory resonators
Big Bully Catch Can

Is a value of 2 KNK Total normal then? LTKR and STKR stay at a constant 0 and have never registered anything higher. It's the same value with an unmodified factory tune as it is with the Diablo Tune. Adding fuel or retarding degrees of timing doesn't appear to change the value any but adding timing advance while removing fuel does increase the knk total value while going up a hill in second gear as you would expect. I realize you're very busy and your time is important so thank you for responding.mikel wrote:thats the amount of knock being recorded.
