Customer's U7135 was stolen!

I have a local customer that had a U7135 on a 5.7L Charger. He went to the dealer and it was stolen! The vehicle still has the tune in it.
He wants to buy another one, but I'm pretty sure it will not work. What do we do now?

Hmmm...not sure if the car needs to be reflashed or not.
Lemme look into this, and I will let you know....
PS....whats he doing with the Predator in the car at the dealer? He was looking for trouble!

could he have the dealer reflash the pcm wiping out the diablo tune. then just send another unit?

I'm curious if it worked... The StarScan may not want to flash it, if it thinks it has the current flash in there already.

Isn't the stolen U7135 now useless to whoever has it, because it has the true owner's VID and tune in it?? If the thief returns it to you guys, will you know it's stolen, and will you confiscate it, or reset it and return it to the thief? Just curious on how that all would work.

Yes, it will be useless. We will not unlock it without proof of purchase.
