Hypertech Inteceptor and Diablo Tune together?
Hypertech Inteceptor and Diablo Tune together?
Could you use the Hypertech Inteceptor and the Diablo Tune together on the 2011 Charger R/T? Would one compliment the other or would the Inteceptor create problems with the Diablo Tune.

Re: Hypertech Inteceptor and Diablo Tune together?
No. Both are supposed to do about the same thing. One problem; The Hypertech is a piece of garbage. It doesn't do what its supposed to. Throw it away and put a real tune on the car.

Yeah, I wouldn't suggest it....the tune will add timing, then the other thing would trick the PCM into adding even more timing, then, Boom

TKS, will not try. And for Mike Levy, read the posts from the Durango forum on the Inteceptor. Should have bought a Dodge!mikel wrote:Yeah, I wouldn't suggest it....the tune will add timing, then the other thing would trick the PCM into adding even more timing, then, Boom

I owned 2 SRT8s. Wouldn't touch another one with a 10 foot pole. Why would I want a weak 470hp vehicle when I can have 555 with a pair of turbos that just needs a tune to be around 650? That would be stupid of me.tacamo01 wrote:TKS, will not try. And for Mike Levy, read the posts from the Durango forum on the Inteceptor. Likewise, I have experience with Hypertech, and you can extend that pole to 20 feet before I'd use their crap. I don't care what some people on a forum say. I've been modding cars for 18 years, I know what works, and Hypertech doesn't.

What is stupid of you is trolling the this forum when the BMW is not supported by Diablo. X5 M with all that HP/Torque and you still run 4.5 sec 0-60. Should have kept the SRT's. Do you have that tune to get you to 650? LOLMike_Levy wrote:I owned 2 SRT8s. Wouldn't touch another one with a 10 foot pole. I'm not trolling genius. I've been here for 5 years, done BETA testing for them, have dealer access and even gave a quote for their advertising. I belong here.
I'm not tuned yet. I just bought downpipes. They have to go on first. I don't have the disposable income to drop $1300 on downpipes, $200 on coating, $115 on gaskets, $300 on installation and then spend another $1200 on piggyback tuning or $3000 for real tuning. Not to mention I just dropped $70k on the truck a month ago.
4.5 is a VERY conservative estimate from BMW anyway. The magazines continually pull 4.0-4.1 out of these and low 12 second 1/4s bone stock. It took me heads, cam, headers, etc., along with 4 transfer cases, to do that with a Jeep SRT8.
If I was going back to anything I owned in the past, it sure wouldn't be one of the SRT8s. It would be the CTS-V. But, I'm not going back to that either.

I'm with you tacamo01, sure seem's like mike_levy does troll this forum bad, he has to comment on EVERYTHING. I don't think I have seen a thread were he hasn't posted a comment.
Re: Hypertech Inteceptor and Diablo Tune together?
He does act like he knows everything about everybody and their car/tunes/Diablos. Maybe he is MR. Diablo?

If the SRTs were so bad, then why did it buy a second one after the first? That doesnt sound too bright...
Re: Hypertech Inteceptor and Diablo Tune together?
I bought the second one because the first one was flooded and totaled. Plus the first one was a 300C SRT8 and the second was a Grand Cherokee SRT8.saleen032 wrote:Mike_Levy wrote:

The first gen SRT8s were the best things available in 2007/08. The E60 M5 sucked royally, the E63 was ridiculously priced, same with the Cayenne Turbo and ML63. The CTS-V wasn't out yet (I bought one of those in 2011 when I got rid of the Jeep), nor was the G8 GXP. What else was there in 2007-2008 that had 400+hp in a sedan or SUV?

I comment on very few threads. And on the weekends, I'm the best you've got. Some people appreciate the help. You don't? I don't care. Its that simple.mrys01 wrote:I'm with you tacamo01, sure seem's like mike_levy does troll this forum bad, he has to comment on EVERYTHING.
