2013 300 5.7 5spd same as 2012

Post by Ufoldfirst »

We are more than half way into the 2013 Chrysler 300 model year. Nothing different other than 8spd trans late availability for the 5.7L.
Mine was built July 2012 and shares the same powertrain as the '12 models.
Why can't you make an update available for the 2013 5.7L with 5spd trans?

While you are confident that nothing changed other than the availability of the 8 speed, you are obviously unaware of the inner workings of the GPEC2 PCM, or the new bootloader that was implemented for 2013.

Just because a car looks the same on the outside by no means says it is tuned the exact same way. 06 Chargers use a NGC3.
07 Chargers look identical, have the same exact motor and trans, but use a NGC4.

2010 Rams use a NGC4. 2011 Rams look identical, use the exact same engine and trans, yet use the NGC4a with the encrypted bootloader.

See the issue here?

Obviously things have changed much since I was a technician before God invented OBD ports..

still the question asked by many remains unaswered - when will your product support '13 Mopars?

what do you know sir?

What PCM have you ever reverse engineered?

When is the last time a company the size of Chrysler did something SPECIFICALLY to keep YOU out?
The answer is never, and you'll never be in such a position, as you will never be able to do what we do here. To sit behind a keyboard and poke as if you even have a clue how this all works is laughable at best.

Even more so, what have you done for this community?
Are you the guy who brought the worlds only true custom tuning solution to the HEMI market?
Did you see to it that parts development for your favorite car moved forward at an incredible rate once we entered this market that nobody else wanted to touch?

If it seems like I am a little upset, well I am. I can;t stand keyboard jockeys who have no clue what they are saying who want to come here and talk smack as if we owe them something. Go away sir, your input is NOT needed here at all.

Since you wanted to feel cool here, let me help. I can flash your 2013 right now, but you can't :)

We can tune 2013s. Have been able to for weeks now, but we are not going to put it out there until we have it locked down, otherwise, Chrysler will change it next time you go to the dealership, and then what happens? Guys like you will come here crying about how their tool stopped working after a trip to the dealership.
So, you want it now? Do you? Really??????

Maybe patience is a good thing, even though it seems to be lost on many of you guys here....

I'd rather not see any more replies to this thread.

We'll make some noise when its ready, thats it.

I spend 600 dollar on your product i expect the shit to work. Not at 50%, 80% but at 100% and how the hell you expect some one to be patient its been over 8 months there guy. And what i do know is you and your company have there heads so far up your asses it ain't even funny. Maybe if you gave some updates here and there people would be much calmer on this board. Owning a business myself if i treated costumers like you guys do they would go else were or be fired. AND YOU DO OWE US SOMETHING FIX YOUR DAMN PRODUCT OR GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. And i can't stand unprofessional customer support like you that dont keep in touch with people unless of course your selling something.

Sir, this is like saying you spent 10K on a GM motor, and asking why it won't work in a Ford???

The Trinity does not support 2013 models. It does not now, nor did it when you purchased the device, how in the world is this our fault?

If you buy something that the manufacturer does not say will work, then it is nobody's problem but your own. You simply should have returned the device. If you choose to hold on to it, please do so quietly, or go complain here, so the other Chally guys can tell you the same thing I am:

Who said my truck is a 2013? Mine is a 2012 ram 1500 hemi still no fix on the shift points or increase in hp. When my truck runs slower with the 93 performance tune than stock there is something wrong with the tune.

sir, i am not changing any subject. The subject at hand (please, read the thread title) is about adding 2013 support. period. You changed the subject, to the point that I did not even know what you were talking about. Take it easy.

Don't hijack my thread! :normal:

Hi Mike! Driving back from the V.A. today, I was thinking about the future update to support my '13 300. I had a feeling there was something new to check out, and I was right... sorry it turned out this way!
You can lock this one if ya like. I'm happily and patiently waiting.

Customer service at its finest. You both are in the wrong. Larry your in the wrong for saying you are helping them develop/fix tunes. Mike your in the wrong for snapping like that, I get nagging people can be annoying but maintaing a professional attitude is key. I own a 2013 and im patiently waiting but if this is the way paying customers are treated it makes me very wary of purchasing your product where if I have a problem this is the way I might be treated. This is not my forum so feel free to comment how you feel but I don't think either of you are right here. Or maybe I am the one that is wrong who knows.

With all that being said I wish you both a good day and I hope your dispute can be settled in a more calm manner. Look forward to Diablo's tuning solution for 2013 HEMI's.
