string vpp issue

so today i brought a used unmarried diablo predator and this evening i tried to set it to my car after doing the calibrate update and crom it smells of electronix and then says string vpp missing what do i do and how much is the repair ive read that alot people have endured this problem with the 05 magnum r/t

Considering they don`t make them anymore and have not for over a year and the fact as you said ("alot people have endured this problem ") and that you bought it yesterday, USED. Now you come here pissed at Diablo for your own dumb shit! WOW!

OK guy no one asked you it seems to be a common problem I'm not pissed at diablo. I'm pissed at the fact I brought it and that happen so before you jump in understand the situation if you spent your money then that happen how would you feel. I seen the predator work with my own eyes on a 06 SRT 8 so it wasn't the problem with being used its just the 05 magnum earlier models have the problem.
