3,000 mile road trip out West. Factory Settings?

Post by pushnw8 »

I have an upcoming 3,000 mike road trip out west. I have the 93cai tune, should I go back to the factory tune because of the excessive fan running or will I be okay? Figured with the extreme temps it would run anyway just wanted to get some thoughts.

Leave the tune in. I've taken tuned cars on tons of road trips. The fans are only a problem if you have the settings wrong for your thermostat.
