I don't like Magnaflow anymore. They pretty much told me to piss off, in nicer words, when I called to see if they had anything to replace my wacky muffler. Didn't get a straight answer either, so now I emailed them. Rather be treated like crap than drop $6500(!) on an exhaust. :P

Who were you dealing with? What P/N are you having trouble with?

I have no idea who I was dealing with. I just called MagnaFlows customer service #. No part number, because I don't know if anything will fit. Thats why I called. The muffler I'm trying to replace is bizarre (see the attachment).

Don't worry about it. Jared just answered and told me nothing would fit. He said to go to a Magnaflow shop and see if they could piece something together.

Makes 11hp. But its 51lbs lighter than stock!! How much does the stock one weigh that they were able to take that much off??!! Jeez!

Yep. Factory cutouts. Just makes it sound louder and worse. The exhaust is run as two banks of 4 cylinders with no crossover, so it sound like a pair of 2.2L Hondas. When I find a decent muffler, I also gotta have an X pipe put in.

losing 51 pounds....in the worst spot possible on a top heavy vehicle :)

Thats a lot of weight, but I bet the pass seat weights about the same :punisher:

I bet the passengers seat weighs quite a bit more than 51lbs. With airbags, heaters, cooling fans in the seat and back and enough motors to articulate 14 ways, plus compressors for the wings and lumbar supports, its probably closer to 100.
