2012 Jeep SRT8 Diablo Tune Question

Post by ccolotti »

I just bumped the tune yesterday to the Diablo tune and today it threw the P0471 Pressure sensor code. It was running the 91 octane tune fine for a few weeks. I did add an LMI CAI and a Fastman 84mm TB upgrade but certainly that should not change the back pressure sensor. Is there anything different in the 93 tune to throw this code when the 91 was fine? The 91 was stock air intake and TB as well.

I'd think the Diablo tune would still be suited for the Corsa Cat back, CAI, and minor TB change, but the pressure sensor I know was fine before the re-tune to the diablo tune. Overall is there a way to write out this sensor completely from the 2012+ Diablo tunes once and for all so it's never an issue with the cat back's?

Cheers!

Here you go! Only mods are:

Corsa Cat Back
FastMan 84MM TB
LMI CAI
180 T-STAT

You should see this is a Diablo tune with just the fan speeds modified for the 180 T-Stat. (I think these are the right ones if you want to double check).

Will do! Thanks Mike! Any plans to build the backflow sensor into the stock Diablo tune in the future? I assume this will not affect any inspection results since that's a new sensor just for these models.

we havent done that as we havent been able to confirm it will not be an emissions issue.

10-4! I will try it in January here in NH, Is there more than just Jeep/Dodge using these new sensors? If so I see it hard for states to check for it, unless it's some new EPA mandate add on. I can revert to stock for the inspection and it seems as long as you don't thump on it it does not pop the codes.

Thanks again! loading it now. :)
