what revision number was it on before you started to try to update it???
you may have an older 7194 that can not do the newer updates....

aaah.. so that's why.. you have an old 7194...
not to mention that you have a predator and you posted in the Trinity forum haha....
and you have a GM vehicle right??? because that 7194 is for 2006-2009 GM vehicles.. and other posts from you are about a dodge vehicle...
you can't use the latest updates man... that 7194 you have is too old...
you can only go up to revision 9r08 or 9r10..
I have attached them both to this post.. . try the 9r08 first.. if that doesn't work for you and your GM vehicle, then try the 9r10....

Nah. Predator is dead. No more updates.

yeah, predator's are all dead and gone.. they were all discontinued 4-5 years ago now...
and there is no tcm/tranny support with a predator at all... so you can't adjust/change any tranny settings with that predator...
you can trade it in to diablosport and they'll give you a $100 discount on buying a new inTune or Trinity from them.. and then that way you'd have TCM/tranny support so can tune the tranny settings for even better performance...
make sure you restore the original backup stock tune from the predator to your truck first before you send it in...

is trinity or i1000 any better than the other?
Do they both offer same tune capabilities?

as for the difference between the two programmers... the tunes are the same. adjustable parameters are the same...
The Trinity has a few more features, including a performance monitor for 0-60, 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile times, etc... bigger color touch screen... graphic virtual gauges for monitoring data... it has a windshield mount (like a gps)... you can watch/view the data without having to hold it, since it's mounted to the windshield...
The inTune is smaller (it's the size of a credit card), it does not have the performance monitor, and does not have the graphic virtual gauges, etc, and it's less expensive...and it's a little easier to use than the Trinity when it comes to data logging and importing/export tune files for custom tuning, since you don't have to use any extra software - everything is just copy/paste with the inTune.
So really, it's up to you which one you'd want...
here are links to their user manuals so you can check them both out to see which one you'd want:
