Registration Issues

Post by Silvy6.2 »

Hey guys I just got my new inTune today and I'm trying to get it registered. I have run the updates and filled in the info on the Diablo website. I got the email response that gives the registration code and entered that as well. When i pull up the info.xml file the tuner is still not registered. It still reads 0 in the license tuned section. Do i have to plug it into my truck first to get it to register or did i not do something right? I'm also not seein the registration.itf file.

Another issue i'm not seeing anything in the tune folders either.

Just a heads up, this is my first tuner and I'm not very good with computers either! Not a good combination....

Thanks in advance!

the license is for if it is licensed to a vehicle.. not the registration heh...

once you install a tune to your vehicle, that will show license 1/1

and it's the same reason you don't see any files in the tunes folder either.. it's because you have not installed a tune to your vehicle yet...

once you do, everything will be as it should...

you need to install a tune...

You won't see the tunes in the folder and it sounds like you're all updated and registered. The 0 in the license applies to your vehicle tune after you've installed a tune so go ahead and install.

Thanks for the replys guys! This shit is confusing when you know nothing about it! I'll plug it into the truck and hope something other than screwing my truck computer happens!!

So it should be safe to plug in then right? Just a little hesitant! I would be really pissed if i screwed up the truck computer.....
