intune WTF moment

Need help please, just bought an intune today to replace my stolen Pred. I performed regrestration and update then went to to the vehicle, got to the end of the programming and it failed, tried it 3 times and gave up cause its too dam late. I brought the intune inside and connected it to my computer and it comes up with a screen calibration, volatge test(which fails ) and some BUS tests that all fail, then it give me my "key" and asks for a password. What is this?how do i fix it? how do I tune my vehicle?
I had problems with the Pred and swore I wouldnt get another Diablo tuner due to all the issues they seem to have with even the most basic of tasks like tuning! I figured I would give it another chance after reading about the intune and how good it was supposed to be.
Please help me get this thing up and running. leaving on a camping trip tomorrow evening.

sounds like the tool has anissue, id suggest swapping it out with the retailer or send it here and we'll replace it.
