I finally got a nice used tranmission back in my SRT8 Jeep becasue mine was flare shifting on 2-3.
Well wanted to re-install my Mopar TCM, and did.
Now in autostick, Jeep over revs the 1-2nd shift and cuts off.....
Is there a quick easy fix for this?
also, my 2-3rd shift doesn't seem as crisp/firm as it was the night I installed tranmission.
any tips, or do I need to have my tuner (wink wink) adjust internally.
I just want it trimmed from the over rev of about 6450- down to 6300?
Then it won't hit the limiter, and shut the Jeep off...it's embaraasing, b/c I jave to coast to a stop, and
re-start Jeep in Park....
thanks...

We'd have no way to address that....

You don't have to stop to restart. While coasting, put it in neutral, kill it and restart it. I used to do that in my SRT8 all the time. Be advised though that you will lose power steering and brakes while its off, so be prepared.
