Trinity Draining my Battery 2010 Ram 5.7

Post by Rock$tar »

My trinity is draining my battery on my 2010 Ram. If i leave it connected to the OBDII port overnight, every morning when I get in my truck battery is flat.

Unplug the trinity before I park it and its fine.

I've search the forums and this seems to be a known issue with the trinity, some say go back to main menu before shutting off. Still drains battery. Some say set time to 30 seconds / 60 seconds. Both still drain battery.

Anything else I can do with this thing?

Yes I did.

Please advise what else I can do to prevent this issue. It is terribly annoying. I have a pillar pod with it installed in that and I'd like to just leave it plugged.

The forum is not the fastest way to get a hold of support staff. If you need a faster turnaround, send an email into support @ diablosport.com

You may want to try setting the sleep monitor to 0 and check back.

I've tried calling the support line. Sitting on hold for 20 minutes is no benefit to me. Its easier to just leave a message and check it later.

I will try the setting to 0 then back to 60 to see what happens.

If not I will send an email.

My 6.4 srt charger is the same. Not dead but down. I set to 60 sec as told. How much juice is the trinity drawing?

When the trinity is set to 60, it gives the vehicle enough time to turn itself off.

Why is there not a response to the 2 major questions in this post? The original question was asked over 2 months ago and I still do not see a solution. Whats up garrett????

What kind of customer support is this? Would you like us all to leave bad reviews on sites like AutoAnything and RamForumz?

There were 2 questions asked and I would hope they could be answered.

1. My trinity is draining my battery on my 2010 Ram. If i leave it connected to the OBDII port overnight, every morning when I get in my truck battery is flat.... (No solution I see posted)

2. Whats the benefit to having it plugged in then to leaving it unplugged ?

Step up DiabloSport. We only paid $600 for this. An answer is due.

Ya same issue here, 30, 60 , 0 all does the same thing.

i have dual batterys and an isolator so its not a major deal but still pissed me off when you pay 800 bucks for something that is always causing problems.
