So this isn't really Trinity related, however I am hoping someone has some idea.

I have a 2011 Ram 5.7 running MPG Booster. Today I was driving through town, slowed down to make a right turn and tipped into the throttle lightly while coming through the turn. This is town so by tipping into the throttle, I mean getting back up to 20mph or whatever.

As that was happening I felt a drop in power, heard some noise from the engine and saw my ST knock instantly shoot up to 14. It almost wounded like an engine that ran out of gas and was rattling and knocking.

It only lasted for a second and was OK after that. Had a full tank of fuel and had not had anything like this happen before.

I don't know what was going on with the MDS at that time, wasn't watchin but thought it could have been some weird thing with the engine going in and out of MDS at that moment.

Has anyone experienced anything like this or have any idea what could have happened?

Could it be some bad gas or water in the gas? Only time I had that much ST knock thats what it was. I noticed you said you had a full tank so maybe you got some bad stuff? only other thing is metal to metal knock like a heat shield? Good luck!
