Tool not licensed for use with this vehicle?

Hello all!

I bought a Predator u7194 and went to test it out, and when I tried to install the tune it said the tool "is not licensed for use with this vehicle". It's for a 2008 Silverado 6.0L and looks like it should be compatible with the truck.

Anyone know how I can get it to work with the truck or is it actually the wrong version?

Did you buy the tool used? That message refers to it already being married to a vehicle.

Yep I did buy it used but the guy said he installed the stock tune back on to his car before he traded it in.

unfortunately he did not, it can be unlocked for $129 if you'd like.
