I'm a new owner of used 7194. Installed tune on 07 avalanche and worked great. wanted to update and it wouldn't update to latest version. can someone help?

Have you tried going through the update instructions, here?

If so, where are you getting stuck?

it's most likely an old version 7194 that will not let you update to the last bigger revision updates that are for the 2nd generation 7194's...

and for your 2007, there's really no need to update it anyway...

what revision is on it now?? power it up and when it gets to the main menu/screen, the revision number is shown at the top of the screen.. what is it?

9t30g is whats on it now. It had a version just a couple under the new one when i bought it. when i went to update it messed up an this version is all i could get. thanks for the quick reply. other than this i'm really liking it

Can you tell me what the difference is between that newest version an the one I am on now as stated above? I would appreciate it. I am gonna get my feet wet with this and learn and then I plan on updating to either the intune or the trinity which i think i would prefer. Again thanks for your help

Hate to keep bothering about this, but would really like an answer

one version of the update file was a TEST file.. the other version is the RELEASE file... same stuff in both...

other version was working fine for your truck.. absolutely no need to update.. there is nothing new at all for your older 2007 truck...
