Redline shifting

Post by monster71 »

Prior to my tune, when driving in autostick, if i hit redline before shifting the car would shift into 2nd. I was playing with this recently after tune installed and the car did not shift on its own at redline. It appears that the tune removed the ability for the car to autoshift at redline in autostick. Not a complaint I just didnt realize this would happen.

If I up the rev limit 200 rpms does that change redline by 200 rpm? If not then changing rev limits is only good in autostick correct? In D the car will still shift on its own right before redline, correct?

Hi guys,

I just got the InTune this pass Saturday and I followed all the steps stated in the instructions (Registered, Update device, downloaded the 91 Tune and made a few changes to the 91 tune), however there were several parameters that I was not able to change because the InTune said it was not supported or an error message was shown. Such parameters were:
1. TCM Desable
2. Wheel Size changes
3. Final drive changes
4. Reset TCM Adaptations
5. Rev Limiter in Drive (However the Rev Limiter in Neutral was change to the same as in Drive).
6. Data Logger play back does not work.

These were the ones that came to my mind. Please let me know how can I fix these issues.

Take Care,

Fernando.

Odd. Today I was playing in the street and noticed in autostick that the car was now shifting at 5700 rpm. On my first post I noted the car didnt shift and almost went into limp mode. I dont play with trinity settings so im a bit concered on this.

Where do I find this setting on the trinity? Garrett said its in the adjustable parameters but I dont see anything.

Since Im running a HemiFever tune do I need to adjust under that tune? I can see where rev limit in Drive is set at 5500, 6300, 6500. But nothing showing turn off/on autoshift.

Also, why are there 3 sets of RPM numbers?
