My truck wont start "no ecu found" help !!!

Post by Michaeldavis35 »

Just tried loading a tune for the first time... I have updated my intune and did the calibration update... THen i went to plug it into my truck and it went up to 100% and said there was an error in the calibration update... So I tried one more time and same thing. THen I call tech support and they gave me a code to type in and told me it would work ... But now it is saying there is no ecu and my truck wont even start and tech support is closed.... Please help I have to have my truck running so I cant get places...

Connect the tool to the PC

When prompted to enter recovery, select cancel

When prompted to reset tool, select cancel

With the main menu showing, drag the attached file to the Intune drive and let the tool import the firmware.

Once the tool loads the new firmware, take it back to the truck and let it attempt the recovery again.

did the new firmware load correctly?

it may say no ecu a few times, just keep hitting the green check. the third time should continue on.

if the tool had already been reset, I can't do much.

you'll need to contact tech on Monday and RMA the tool and ecu

Wait...when you called tech, they would have clearly asked if the truck was running before they reset the tool. If it was running when they did that, what happened to cause it to not start?

Tech never asked me if my truck was running... I drove the truck home turned it off, went inside to get my tuner to try it out for the first time and just turned the key to the "on position" and thats when the problems started with the calibration error, so I called tech and they made me give them a number off the tuner and they told me to enter a pass code and I did and then I tried to do load tune again and all it said was no ecu found and I tried calling tech back and no answer and then it was about 4:30 CST so I figured they closed so I thought Ill just wait till monday and I went to start my truck and nothing just a whole bunch of warning lights aI vnd my red security light flashing ... ive tried unplugging battery and that didnt change anything

Ive been trying to call all day (monday) and never get an answer... Ill try back tomorrow and hopefully we can get this worked out cause its been 4 days now with no truck...
