have your dealer reflash the ecm/tcm back to latest stock GM programming....
that will ensure that you are starting from scratch with stock GM programming first before using the old/discontinued predator on it...
you still can't adjust any tcm/tranny parameters though, since the old discontinued predators do not have tcm/tranny support... so you can not change anything like tranny torque management, shift points, shift pressure/firmness, how quick it shifts, etc etc....

Is there any way to modify the existing tune re enabling torque management is not an option trans is built with all kinds of goodies goodies including a shift kit torque management renders rhat useless my main problem is shift points and fuel mixture timing I can live with the tans like it is but its seems like im running real rich no codes car also has cai no cats and sigle chamber cherry bomb mufflers

you cannot "tweak" the tune that is installed from another device. You're going to have to have the vehicle flashed at a GM Dealer. That will allow your tool to connect and tune your vehicle.

Appreciate the help I guess im going to sell this programmer and go with a different method of tuning with a laptop handhelds seem limited as I said torque management cannot be re enabled it would hurt the shift firmness

no matter what company you choose, the vehicle will need to be flashed back to factory. You no longer have the device that wrote the tune, no other company can read out the tune you have to modify it.

It was tuned by a shop here locally guy did me wrong it was tuned with a laptop and from what ive seen less capable handheld don't seem to be enough for me I want to do it all myself by the way I am an engineer so I have to be in control of everything I'll never pay a tuning shop for anything but a dyno pull ever again was hoping this diablo would allow me to manipulate a few parameters till next spring when I have more time this will as you've said not work for me without turning on torque management which the 7191 cannot turn off again puts me back at square one programmer has to have tcm support to work for me so I'm on the market for a tuning setup not sure what to go with
