Unable to update Intune

I received my Intune yesterday and hooked it up to my 2013 Ram 1500. It told me it needed an update and to plug it into a computer with internet access. I did this with Windows 8 and it wouldn't auto install the updater. I then navigated to the CD-Rom drive and found the intune.exe program. I right clicked and went to run as administrator and I get the following message: "Attempted unsupported operation". I tried this several times and ultimately gave up thinking it was a computer/windows compatibility issue. I came to work this morning and attempted to update the intune on a Windows Vista computer and get the same error message. Somebody please help me with this.

Plug the tool into the computer, exit anything that may pop up. Go to the start menu on the computer, click on Computer. There will be a drive labeled “cdrom Diablosport” on the device. Right click and choose open. After it opens you will see a program labeled intune.exe. right click and choose run as administrator. The updater will open, and auto update.

As I said in the original post, I have already done this and still am unable to start the intune program to get the updates.
