Purchased the inTune I-1000 DCX yesterday, tried to tune my 2013 Avalanche today after doing all the online downloads, and registration. The tool appeared to back up my OE configuration, then said something along the lines of it wasn't compatible. Any one else have this problem with 2013 Chev. Avalanche, 5.3L motor?

If I now go into Vehicle Info while the tool is plugged into the PC, it says: Unable to determine VIN and Calibration ID. Using last vehicle info, but clearly on the device my correct VIN number is listed?

BTW, on the firmware info page, the Application is: 1r03p, but the GM PID Db is: 1r01a?

did the tool save a backup and ask to send it to support? Please email the backups from the tunes folder on the intune drive to the email in my signature.
