2014 Camaro SS A6

Hello,
A couple weeks ago purchased the Diablsport Intune, live in CA and uploaded the 91 octane tune.

Adjustable parameters amended and uploaded:

DOD (Active fuel management off)
Speed Limiter (off)
Shift pressure (hard)

Highly impressed with the device, very responsive in low RPMs. Lot more torque in the low RPMS and mid RPMS.

*** Question***
How come even during the 1-2 WOT upshift there's no tire chirp, spin?
In drive or sport mode the 1-2 WOT upshift is at 5,900-6,000 RPMS which is peak power for the L99 engine, however not even a chirp.
The shift seems quick yet a soft shift.

Reason I ask, in my former vehicle a 2006 GTO A4 after uploading the Predator Diablsport tune the 1-2 WOT upshift would result in full tire spin with street tires. I had to use drag radials to alleviate tire spin and get the full effect of this tuning device. So, a bit stunned the 1-2 WOT upshift on my Camaro SS won't even chirp. Never, be it with traction control on or off.

try adding some line pressure tot he 1-2 shift at WOT.
Doesn't help that the SS weighs more than the GTO :)

I have the line pressure maxed out too, did this within the adjustable parameters.
Saved and uploaded.
Re-checked it too, line pressure maxed out.

My understanding is the Diablosport does not effect TCM tuning, only the engine?

Lastly, are the fans on/off speeds/temperature adjusted with the 91 octane tune too?
Was not sure if I need to go to the adjustable parameters, adjust all the fan speed settings to MAX. or if already adjusted through the 91 octane tune. Reason for thinking this is to minimize heat soak. Have the fans cool the engine sooner and longer vs. the stock GM fan tune.

Intune has TCM control...

We lower the fans a bit for the stock t-stat, if tyou change to a cooler one, you can lower them more...

Ok. That's great news about the fan settings being slightly adjusted over stock.

Even my tuner mentioned, as a base tune on a stock or bolt on vehicle the Diablsport is a great device.
Highly recommended.

I already reached the point where needing to make further tune adjustments so now using HP Tuners software.
Did just that today, numerous parameters utilizing HP Tuners.
To get the 1-2 wot upshift to chirp the tires, TCM torque management had to be turned off.
Made a significant difference.

Yet again, tuner is upfront and honest and conveyed that your tuner is a solid and credible device.
For most people, more than ample too.

Gonna sound crazy.... but load firm shift tune and turn Torque Management "ON"... I know it sound backwards.... but just do it and watch that frown flip! :drivingbad:

BlkWidowSS, I'm a bit confused, Yesterday your Post said to turn TM on, Today you posted set firm shift and turn TM off?

oops... you are right. i meant to say turn it ON.... you are not gonna belive it!!! Seems backwards... but do it and enjoy!!! Don't forget to post up afterwards either... 8)
