Hi,

I am looking for immediate support as my car now is not working !!

I had a custom tune in it, and I tried to restore the original backup, after reaching 100% of writing I got an error says " PCM: error unlock for reflash (-81) "

and now the car is dead and when I try to connect the Trinity back it says, unable to read PCM VIN.

I tried to disconnect and connect the battery and the issue the same.



Please help .

What vehicle is it?
Were there any issues with the custom tune?
What software version is on the tool?
Is the tool in recovery mode?

here you are .

- 2013 Charger SRT8

- no issue with Custom tune, I was wondering only to restore original backup since I am planning to take the car to dealer for regular service.

- the tool is update with last version (f)

- I don't know exactly what do you mean by recovery mode ! I have never seen this

they don't work weekends...

you'll need to wait until Monday when they are at work and in the office... call tech support.. 9am - 6pm eastern standard time...

I got my car working now.

I have another issue with Taking some logs

whenever I go to Create a new Logs , the Trinity is stuck and I have to disconnect and connect again the cable.

any Idea,

I am running version (f) last one.

I am having the exact same problem. I am frustrated and i cant get hold of the diablo support team.

Can you please advise??

Car is dead. Every time i connect trinity it says unable to get VIN PCM.

I've been lurking around these forums for the last few months after I bought a new Trinity Tuner for my '12 Ram Power Wagon and got the freezing gauges issue, along with the slightly dead battery and door locks having no range. Well after seeing everyone else having the same issues and nothing have being done for the last couple months I decided to take a ticket and wait in line since they didn't seem to want to refund me my money so I could buy a Bully Dog and be done with this BS. Well after waiting about 2 months after they said they would be done with the update I finally update my tuner and now I can't even save my original backup to load a tune and test if they fixed the gauge issue. So supposedly they fix one thing and then broke another in the process, awesome. So now I have a $600 paper weight that isn't even a very good paper weight because it's so damn light.

Anyway here's what I got when I booted up my freshly updated, un-married Trinity to my truck and tried loading an 87 tune and went to save the original backup.



Then after I clicked more info....


So then it re-booted itself and made my dashboard light up like a Christmas tree. Well I didn't know what to do so I just un-plugged it from the OBD-2 port and everything went off and back to normal except my ambient temp. which just showed a bunch of dashes with the Fahrenheit symbol at the end. Well then I decided to chance it and turn it off and re-start it hoping it didn't mess anything up and everything went back to normal after I started it back up. So what do I do now?

under options/show information what is listed for version?

Well I guess you guys released another update since I updates a week or so ago? I plugged it in to check the version and it updated to 1r11a. What did the update intend to fix?
