TCM flashes traceable by dealer?

I have been told by many and it is advertised that the Diablo tunes, in my case the DCX, are not traceable by the dealer. Is that true for the PCM flashes? I have read that dealers can read how many times a PCM has been flashed and even though they can't tell what was done they are flagging warranties. I have never had any problems with my Magnum and my Diablo tune but I know that technology changes and that dealers will do anything to not stand behind their vehicles. I'm sure it is different for the guy who is getting a new CMR tune every month compared to the guy who only flashes once or twice. But if you have to take it in for a problem your flashes can add up fast. Thanks for the help.

Tell them to flag it. The Magnusson Moss Warranty Act says they can't void anything unless an aftermarket part directly causes a problem, so they can flag whatever they want, they still have no choice but to honor the warranty. Print it out, shove it in their faces, and them them to try. If they do, sue the pants off them. You can't lose.
Bullshit like that is exactly why I became a SEMA Action Network Member. I'm so sick and tired of dealers trying to pull shit. Now if they try shit, I know I can get in their faces and have SEMA backing me up.

I keep forgetting about that Act! And you are exactly correct. Either way it is good to know if it does or not. Seems a lot of Durango owners are not getting the Diablo because of this potential issue and going with the Hypertech.

I haven't had any issues with mine. Thats the whole reason I bought it was because it could be removed. When I take my Neon SRT4 in for warranty work I just reinstall the factory tune. I have flashed mine easily over 40 or 50 times... especially when I was tuning it, I would datalog, pull over adjust, reflash.. etc.
