Error Code 16 when backin up stock tune

Hi. I just received my InTune 1000 unit today (brand new). I updated the firmware, then updated the calibration. The calibration update was sent to my 2009 Dodge Charger RT Classic. That was fine.

I followed all instructions and when it tries to backup the stock tune, it fails at 20%, and I believe that is when the fuel pump is energized (not sure specifically, but electrical power is applied and a component turns on) - and then it fails with the Error Code 16.

I've unplugged the InTune and tried again - no luck.

I've run all updates.
help.
Thanks
Christina :evil_angel:

Please call the tech support line (561 908 0040, option 1) or email me (see signature) on Monday morning and we will try resetting the inTune.

Hi. I don't know if this will help others that had a code 16 - so I am not saying exactly what I did. I cannot be held responsible for other people's InTune units. I've been an IT person for 20+ years and generally can figure out most devices and systems, so I felt comfortable working on my InTune. So- I don't recommend doing what I did. If you need tech support - don't ask me. Call TechSupport on Monday.

I did get this to work today. I basically started all over again, re-registration, clearing calibration from the InTune, and then waiting 30+ minutes while it downloaded a Ford tune and calibration and reconfigured itself. :normal:

I plugged it in today and everything worked properly. Yay! :D :D :D :D

Time to see what this has done... :evil_angel: :evil_angel: :evil_angel: :evil_angel: but not in the rain. :drivingbad:
